Eilert Hanoa Joins Brandbassador as 2nd Largest Shareholder & Member

Eilert Hanoa joins the Brandbassador team as the second largest shareholder and member of the board of directors. Eilert Hanoa was the first external investor in Kahoot! and served as Chairman of the Board until 2019 when becoming CEO of Kahoot!. Hanoa is the founder and former Chief Executive Officer of ERP software company Mamut (delisted from OSE when acquired by Visma in 2011), and Director SMB ERP in Visma from 2011-2018. He also holds several board positions. 

Hanoa has a long track record with the Brandbassador founding team, Thomas Adams and Ole Fjelberg. He served as a member of their board in Onepiece for about 3 years, an influencer and ambassador fuelled clothing brand started by Thomas Adams and partners. Ever since the first ambassador program was launched in Onepiece, driving up to 10% of their revenue, Eilert has followed the development of the product and the market. In 2016 Brandbassador was founded, based on the experience from building the ambassador program and software in Onepiece.

We are very excited to have Eilert join our team. He is genuinely passionate about the product, the industry and the business in general. Very few people have the experience and track record that Eilert has. We know he will be of great value as Brandbasasdor continues to develop and pioneer the ambassador marketing space in the years to come. Brandbassador was not looking for any investments at this time, however when Hanoa showed his interest, we felt having him join would fit well into our plans of high growth and expansion in 2021, something he has great experience with. 

Hanoa is joining Jorn Lyseggen (Founder of Meltwater), Carl Erik Hagen (Canica), Micke Paqvalen (Founder of Kiosked) as well as Thomas Adams and Ole Fjelberg in the Brandbassador board of directors.
